KLIAVS 2012: Demo CD
I am writing this while listening to the commemorative CD that all paying (up to 10,000) visitors to the KLIAVS will receive.
I will not spoil things for you by revealing too much but suffice it to say that it is indeed very good.
Since Jo Ki was instrumental in compiling the songs and getting it mastered and all that, it is obvious that his preferences are very evident in the CD.
These are songs that he has chosen both for musical and recording qualities.
They are excellent for testing for ambience, depth, soundstage size, vocals, separation, bass tonality and other factors that audiophiles look out for.
Jo Ki should be praised for a fine effort and it is a historic work as it is the first-ever commemorative CD issued by the KLIAVS organiser, Dick Tan.
