KLIAV: Clearaudio is clearly ahead

Vinyl addicts will have to make it a point to visit CMY Audio & Visual's room because a flagship system will be on demo - Clearaudio's flagship turntable will be linked to flagship Naim pre/power amps and ProAc's flagship speakers and the cables will be flagship Siltechs.

Since CMY inked the deal to distribute Clearaudio products just recently, the German company's turntables will be showcased during the KL International AV Show.

The Clearaudio Master Reference turntable with the TT2 tangential tonearm and Clearaudio moving-coil cartridge connected to a Clearaudio phono preamp will be the LP-spinning source. The Naim NAC 552 preamp and the NAP 500 power amp will drive the ProAc Carbon 8 speakers. Linking the power amp to the speakers will be the ultra-expensive (around RM150k) Siltech Emperor Crown cables.

I have heard the same system with a Naim CDS3 CD player and it created some of the best music I have ever heard. With the vinyl source, audiophiles can expect some form of sonic heaven...
