Furutech is better than maybe 70% ...Let me explain.
Furutech is better than maybe 70% of the brands out there, but compared to oyaide all of it´s products are generally alot less good at controlling the TONE/bright and hard sound so oyaide is really alot better at making detailes products without the sound becomming thin/bright/unstable.
You can almost never find a silver/rodium plug on the market with the sound getting to upfront and unstable together with lossing alot of bass/middletone richness.
Oyaide just is alot better.
Soldering on Furutech is also a bitch, they say that they are not magnetic the plugs, Bullshit!
They are a little, and for this to happen the body is then composed of iron and is therefore unstable compared to Oyaide. Oyaide is for people who want the very best and corect sound. Furutech is for people who generally have a more muddy and low quality sound, so they will benefit alot from having Furutech. (I am talking about 2nd tube sound that most people want)
Oyaide plays alot more correct and you will only appreciate having this on low budget equipment if you have the low models or use Furutech.

Yes the Furutech guld f1 and f11 or whatever they are called, are the very best Furutech tech and come very close to Oyaide.
So very well done Furutech!

Furutech rodium is another story, very very tight bass and almost no bass, very agressive and can get pretty hard.
But sounds good if you have them on a cardas cable, gets less muddy, and for good sakes, use them only on pretty good tube amps like mc275 mcintosh or ear or something similar, don´t use them on lower aulity or super high quality.
Use them on extrmely nice and soft sounding amps!HIFIeksperthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076090158026242730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2186210119576441516.post-26335887938760303362013-01-25T07:20:13.187+08:002013-01-25T07:20:13.187+08:00Furutech is quality 20-50 out of 100 Oyaide is 40-...Furutech is quality 20-50 out of 100 Oyaide is 40-80 out of 100 that is the truthHIFIeksperthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076090158026242730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2186210119576441516.post-9584167543293617482009-09-07T00:32:00.906+08:002009-09-07T00:32:00.906+08:00Shouldn't you be comparing like priced product...Shouldn't you be comparing like priced products? Normally people prefer Acrolink for the more laidback refinement while others prefer Oyaide for their upfront aggressivenessAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
